January Message - 2013

Post date: Dec 19, 2012 6:35:16 PM

Greetings Brethren and guest,

The lodge officer’s decorated the Christmas Tree prior to our installation practice and it looked great

for the holiday season.

Our dinner with Santa had excellent attendance. We believe we had sixty at lodge to enjoy the

festivities. The children got to visit Santa and received a small gift. At this time, I would like to

thank Worshipful Brother Booth for his many years of dedication to seeing that this event was truly

special for the children and family.

My goal for the New Year is to have committees working in the lodge. The lodge needs the

committee work to keep us thriving.

Visiting Care: This group will check in on our brethren that have not been in lodge and report back

to the lodge on any needs that need to be met.

Fund Raising: The lodge needs to raise funds for projects. The kitchen equipment needs to be

updated for one.

Centennial Year: That is correct, in twelve short months McKinley will celebrate its Centennial.

This committee will assist Brother Mayrand in planning his year and organizing centennial events.

Kitchen Crew: Rest assured the Gorgen’s are still in the kitchen. However we need a crew to

assist them. There is a special camaraderie that happens in the kitchen, come on out and enjoy it

with us.

Please continue to support the Waukesa Food Pantry by bringing a non-perishable item to Lodge

Meetings.

It is an honor to preside over the lodge for the coming year. I would like to thank the brethren for

their trust, guidance and support

Fraternally,

Todd Jaremko
