Greetings Brethren,
I would like to thank Mike and Amy Gorgen for ÅÉosting the dinner with Santa event at lodge. We had over 60 for delicious hot ham and an assortment of side dishes. . Half way through dinner Santa arrived to talk to everyone. After dinner we went to the small lodge room to meet and take pictures with Santa. The children received travel games which they began playing immediately.
I would like to thank everyone that came out for installation. I apologize that the invitations did not get out to the rest of the masonic groups that meet at McKinley. I am working on improving communications.
We will still be collecting for the food pantry over the next year as there is still a demand to be met.
Another collection box is in the foyer of our lodge. The Rainbow Girls are collecting pet related supplies for the Fluffy Dog Rescue. Currently we are in need of pet: toys, puppy food, chews, bleach, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, Clorox clean up, Clorox wipes, paper towels, leashes and small collars.
The clothing drive ended on December 15th. I would thank everyone that filled the box to capacity.
We are not having a meal before the January meeting.. However we will have a dinner event on February 2nd prior to the stated meeting.
We will also be having ÅÎovie night on Saturday February 18th at 7:00pm. Come out to Lodge where we will transform the large dining room into a movie theater. For added comfort I recommend bringing your camping chairs. The popcorn machine will be up and running.
